Muth Jar, the first commercial honey container! With the invention of the modern Langstroth hive (the square white boxes still in use today), beekeepers were able to produce more honey than they used. Charles Muth designed the "Muth Jar" in 1870 for them to sell their extra honey.

I love the looks of the jar. The honey in the jar taste delicious. The only down side to the jar is it is hard to pour just a little honey out at a time.
